What is Geo4Studies?
Geo4Studies is an integrated computer system that collects data directly from the field, allowing its immediate analytical and statistical treatment.
Based on a web environment and using multiple mobile platform, it is compatible with all major platforms of Geographic Information Systems. This capability and versatility enables the technicians, who are in the field, to transmit collected data to the system in real-time, whether they are using the Web platform or the App.
After filling out the form, previously parameterized, confirming the geographic location and submitting via the Internet, the data is immediately available in the server database. In areas without mobile data, the information is kept on the device for transmission once there is access.
How does it work ?
Before we can start a new study, we have to decide which data we want to collect such as:
- Name
- Address
- Age
- Contacts
- Preferences
As all information we want to collect is set, we move to the stage of determining intervention strategies, defining which areas each technician should work and schedule visits.
Therefore, we can plan the study, knowing in advance the expected study period, as well as obtaining data about a given area, giving priority to the most critical areas.
After creating a new study, the technicians can immediately begin collecting data. Using a Laptop, Tablet or Smartphone, they will open the app Geo4Studies and identify which study to use. It will appear the form updated with the latest version, which is ready to fill in all fields.

At any time, we can enter the analysis platform and monitoring data already collected. This platform is divided into several areas:

For all studies, a central of messages is available, through a interactive website or email, allowing citizens to alert to any anomalous situation that requires urgent intervention, such as stagnant waters, disease occurrence, etc. All messages have the possibility of being tracked regarding their treatment status:
